I'm so happy you found me!
First, let me brag a little teeny bit -I have been blessed to be a full time family and wedding photographer for over a decade, shooting well over 200 weddings and thousands of other sessions. I have been published countless times, won awards, and been involved in the behind the scenes for some of the most beautiful weddings and events of every size and budget.
When you hire me you are hiring a full time professional who only does photography. People always seem surprised to find out that this is my "real" job! And I've always felt very lucky that is has been; through every phase of my life my love for photography has never changed. While I am by no means a budget photographer, especially when it comes to weddings, my extensive experience is what sets me apart. I don't say that to brag but to give you confidence that when you hire me, you are hiring an expert in the field who truly cares about each client.
More about me:
I live in northern California with my new husband and two of our three incredible kids. Our oldest is married and in the Army serving overseas and recently made us grandparents! The other two are in high school and elementary school and we spend our free time traveling, racing, playing sports, working on the house, and getting rowdy with our dogs. My truest loves are music, BBQ, hiking, reading, and quality time spent with the people I care about the most.
My life philosophy is that we are here on earth to enjoy and fully feel as many of the important moments as we can - the ones that bring us joy, bring tears to our eyes, and make us feel totally connected to one another. I feel that weddings are one of those times where so many of those moments are packed into not just the wedding day but all of the months leading up to it. I guess that's why I have loved being in the industry and witnessing so many of these tear jerking moments up close and personally.
